Lindale Village Store and Post Office
Jan and Ian Maynard offer the usual Post Office services with an excellent range of stock including daily fresh bread, milk, fruit, vegetables, newspapers and magazines. Open Monday to Saturday.


Lindale Legends Youth Club
Since starting last October the ‘Lindale Legends’ Youth club have been busy enjoying a variety of activities and trips. There are a regular group of young people in attendance and the club is open to all aged 11 and over.

The group have been on several trips including Surf the Turf mountain board centre for an exhilarating day of boarding, we took part in a range of outdoor activities at Castlehead Field Study Centre and also went to Kendal climbing wall where members of the club earned their National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme level 1 certificate.

Regular nights at the village hall include a range of craft activities and team games. The youth club have recently bought a range of equipment for use on club nights this has included a pool table, table tennis and a Nintendo Wii all of which are very popular. There is also the opportunity at the youth club to work towards the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and Key fund projects supported by Young Cumbria workers.

The youth club runs at Lindale village hall on every other Wednesday during term time from 6.30pm – 8pm. The admission is £1 and open to all in the Lindale area aged 11+.
